There are 3 ways you can start writing your screenplay with Squibler: Create a new draft, import an existing document, or select an existing screenplay template.

1. Click "Create Draft" to start from scratch. This generates a blank canvas with one folder and one empty file. Create more folders for each of your acts or script parts and name them accordingly.

2: Click "Import document" if you have an existing file that you want to continue working on. Upload the file to your device.

3. Navigate to "Templates" in the left menu to jumpstart your screenplay with our templates. Many genres are available, including action, adventure, comedy, horror, and more. You can click "see all" to view all the available templates.

4. Explore the template's files and folder structure and adjust it to your desired acts and scene titles.

5. Start writing your screenplay scenes.

6. Use the Smart Writer to auto-generate content using AI.

7. Add AI-generated content to your story.

8. Revise the generated content to make the necessary adjustments. Then, use the Smart Writer again to continue writing your screenplay.
